Elizabeth Arcade Books was established in September 2010 with a view to providing the citizens of Penrith with a quality second hand book store. It is owned and operated by the Sukhla Family who have lived in the Penrith area for over thirty years and been involved in the local community from the outset.

The store has an extensive range of quality second hand books at reasonable prices. These cover all popular genres from fiction to science fiction, and romance to horror, and crime fiction to true crime. The store has dedicated space for biographies and the classics, with many books for children and teens.

We are a family run business offering courteous and personal service. So do drop in and ask Romesh, Armand and Carole for the book you are after and if they do not have it in store, they will be only too happy to track down a copy for you on line. A very modest fee is charged for this service.

We like to keep popular titles circulating among our readers and to encourage our readers  to bring these books back, we offer store credits on books returned in good condition.

We also have a selection of Music and Movies (CD’s and DVD’s) in store. 

CHRISTMAS TRADING HOURS

We will be closed from December 24th to January 7th and will re-open on Monday, January 8th, 2018
